The Australian Livestock and Property Agents Association Ltd (ALPA) is the national Peak Industry Body for the livestock and property agent industry, representing more than 1,200 businesses across the country.
Our members oversee livestock, wool, merchandise and rural property sales and marketing and, in doing so, make an important contribution to agriculture, and to rural and regional communities.
ALPA strives to ensure livestock and property agents are profitable, professional and future-focused as part of the dynamic and changing Australian agricultural sector.
We work to:
- Proactively represent agency businesses as a powerful and unified advocacy force
- Ensure members are informed of current and emerging issues, with access to high-quality information, training and professional development
- Nurture the next generation through the ALPA Young Auctioneers Competition, ALPA Agency Award, auctioneering schools and mentoring programs.
